Synopsis

"April, 1945. American soldiers sacrifice their lives to defeat the Germans in World War II. One of the soldiers called "Bible" is like a chaplain for the tank crew. Biblical scripture are cited twice in the movie: Isaiah 6:8 (Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.) and John 2:15-17 (Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.) Can religion and war coexist?
